I am for euthanasia.

Euthanasia creates many reactions and feelings whether you are for or against. 
Some concider that you shouldn't help someone to die, they believe that life is holy. I believe that you should have the right for euthanasia in certain situations. 

Imagine if you were in a koma, and you will never wake up, thats not living thats just existing.

But in all reality this isn’t something some people needs to imagine. This is a real situation for many, many people. These people should be able to make their own choices and have control of their own lives.
And that's exactly what Euthanasia is about. It gives people the right to choose if they want to live or die, 
it also saves money in medical bills, and it stops the person from having a bad quality of life.

The big question in my opinion is where to draw the line when it should be allowed

Legalizing euthanasia would help ease suffering in terminally ill patients. It would be inhuman and unfair to make them endure the unbearable pain.

Charles Robert Darwin (Evolutionsteorins fader)


Charles Robert Darwin föddes den 12 februari år 1809. Han föddes i familjens hem som kallades ”The Mount. Han växte upp i en rik familj. Han hade 4 syskon som var äldre och 1 som föddes efter honom. Hans pappa var societetsdoktor & finansman och hette Robert Darwin, mamman hette Susannah och hon dog då Darwin var åtta år. Under denna ålder började Charles intressera sig för naturhistoria. Charles farfar, Erasmus Darwin, skrev den berömda boken Zoonomia, som innehöll en av de första teorierna om evolutionen, vilket jag tror är en av orsakerna till att hela familjen var vetenskapsintresserade och liberala.
Han var allt ifrån biolog, zoolog, geolog, teolog till forskare.
Sommaren 1825 då Darwin var 16 år hjälpte han sin far, som läkarlärling, att behandla fattiga i Shropshire. Han åkte sedan, samma år, till sin bror Erasmus för att studera på Edinburghs universitet han tyckte dock att föreläsningarna där var tråkiga och ägnade i stället sin tid åt att undersöka ryggradslösa djur som lever i havet.
När Darwin var 22 år blev han anlitat av hans vän John Henslow, professor i botanik i Cambridge, som naturvetare på ett skepp som hette Beagle. Syftet med resan var att kartlägga Sydamerikas kustlinje, medans Darwin skulle göra det han tycke om mest, beskriva och samla in främmande växter, bergarter och djur. Resan planerades vara i 2 år men som till sist tog drygt 5år och Darwin gjorde massvis med upptäckter som när han kom hem hjälpte honom att förklara hur djur samt växt arter bildas.
Under resan antecknade han hela tiden vad han såg och vad han trodde och detta ligger till grund för Darwins evolutionsteorier. Han lade fram sin teori om evolution genom naturligt urval i boken "Om arternas uppkomst " 1859. Boken sålde slut på en dag. I denna bok beskriver han hur arter förändras och utvecklas så att nya arter kan skapas. De religiösa ansåg att Gud hade skapat växter och djur precis som de såg ut då och blev upprörda.
Han märkte att individer inom en art skiljer sig från varandra. Det föds fler individer än som överlever till vuxen ålder. Det måste födas många av samma art då vissa äts upp av andra rovdjur, får sjukdomar mm. De individer som passar bäst i en viss livsmiljö överlever.
Denna process kallade han naturligt urval de vill säga att den starkaste överlever. Detta leder också till att om de bra egenskaperna är ärftliga så förs dessa vidare och de blir så småningom vanligast inom arten. Denna teori bildar basen i modern evolutionslära, vi vet idag att det faktiskt är så. Endast de friska & starkaste djuren i naturen överlever.

Han gifte sig i med sin kusin Emma & paret födde tio barn men två av barnen avled som mycket små.
Darwin var väldigt orolig som pappa och så fort någon av barnen blev sjuka trodde han att de skulle ärvt svagheter som inavel kan skapa då han och hans fru var kusiner.
Han undersökte även denna fråga i sina skrifter

Trots hans rädsla hade de flesta av de överlevande barnen senare framgångsrika karriärer som framstående medlemmar av den prominenta familjen Darwin-Wedgwood.
Charles Robert Darwin dog den 19 april 1882 i Downe, Kent. Han dog av en hjärtattack och blev och blev alltså 73år. Han begravdes i Westminister Abbey.
